Who am I ??

Hi everybody. I am Shameek Datta, (MBBS, MD, EDAIC) an anaesthetist trained in India. I shifted to UK in 2018 and started working in NHS as an MTI.

I am always faced with a lot of queries regarding how to come to UK, what are the different avenues, pros and cons of each. And about salary and life in UK. Hence , here I am, trying to jot down how I did it, the alternatives one has and my experience so far.

Even though it will be written down keeping Anaesthesia in mind, it can serve as a basic guide for all specialties.

Hi Kartik. Sorry for the late reply. I guess you have secured an MTI post by now. My interview was more personal with just one Clinical scenario.

Dear Dr.shameek, I have an mti interview scheduled next month.. Could you be kind enough to throw some light on the format of the interview. Is it more of a professional interaction or a subject based assessment?Any tips on this will be highly appreciated. Thank you

@ojaswanirai91 : join the fb group Edaic. You will get pdf version of books. I read get through frca and Qbase 6 for part 1. Payscale after EDAIC is almost same as mentioned in MTI blog. May be a lil more. And yes, you can do it simultaneously
